The Calling!

Why does the ocean call me? I hear the waves so far away, but yet so near. They are beckoning me to jump in? Tap my toes in the sand? Just swim? The ocean is peaceful and loving. It is there that I can find my center. I need to go soon. My feet are running in that direction, but is my body going to follow? I feel I must, but yet I hesitate. Why?

Small Town Living

I live in a fish bowl,

it's not much fun you see,

for every other fish around

knows everything bout me!!

When I leave my fish bowl,

they are staring with watchful eye,

with baited breath they calculate

just how much time goes by!!

I need to leave my fish bowl,

and go to higher ground,

so they can start their

watching on another fish in town.
